Volunteer with Justice Education Society International Programs!

Volunteer Opportunities

Application Form

The Justice Education Society’s International Programs work in various regions of the world to strengthen the capacities of the justice system – a fundamental component of good governance. Under the vision: "Building stronger communities by promoting understanding of, access to, and confidence in justice systems, at home and abroad" the Society relies on the best international practices and adapts them to different countries and social contexts. We develop region-specific programming to create expertise in building local capacity in civil society and the formal justice system.

Our volunteers help us mainly with communications, project monitoring, administration and finance work. Thanks to their support, we can cut down costs and increase our programs’ reach.

Volunteer duties include website development, newsletter writing, reporting & editing, accounting assistance, data entry, course logistics and administrative duties such as filing, preparing presentation materials, and computer work. These duties vary depending on availability, what you enjoy and what you feel comfortable doing.

JES International office is located in downtown Vancouver and is open Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm. Please browse our volunteer opportunities if you would like to donate time. You can also contact Adriana Haukaas at Adriana.Haukaas(@)justiceeducation.ca for more information.
