The BC Ministry of Attorney General, the Judiciary, and the Canadian Bar Association (BC Branch) create the Law Courts Education Society to assume responsibility for the law courts education programs.
JES’ work has grown exponentially since our founding in 1989, but we’ve never swayed from our vision of Justice for All.
From our origins in Vancouver, British Columbia, we’ve expanded to provide accessible legal education and information and build the capacity of justice systems across Canada and around the world. We have offices in Canada, Guatemala, Honduras, Guyana, and Panama, and have reached millions of people through our access to justice initiatives in more than 19 countries.
